"Children need people in order to become human.... It is primarily through observing, playing, and working with others older and younger than himself that a child discovers both what he can do and who he can become--that he develops both his ability and his identity.... Hence to relegate children to a world of their own is to deprive them of their humanity, and ourselves as well." -Urie Bronfenbrenner

  1. Hi Cedar,

I really love the quote from First lady Michele Obama. Stay true to yourself is something I truly believe in. Never let anyone make you feel you are not somebody special regardless of who you are and where you come from. Sometimes being told your are special and loved is what you need to hear, especially when you are dealing with children. That can make a big difference about how they will feel as an adult if they don't learn about positive reinforcement as a child. Love this!
