what you have learned so far from these exchanges (or from the podcast and
websites).
I have
learned that this organization is working to help stop the spread of hunger,
diseases, of children around the world. Feed the Children works in 120 countries
helping and supporting children and their families. It also helps supply food,
medicine, clothes, and shelters for these families. Save the Children started
in the 20th century by two sisters who had a vision. These two sisters vision
continued into the 21th century, but the real founder of Save the Children was
Eglantyne Jebb after World War One. I have learned that Save the Children
organizations are thriving for all children to have the rights for survival,
protection, development, and participant in the end of hunger. Save the
Children represents that all children are ensured with the equal rights, to be
treated and be cared for fairly in life. I’ve learned that Save the Children is
based upon respecting every cultural backgrounds and valves each others, and
respecting diversity and to develop a positive relationship with partners. Save
the Children agencies set high goals to improve the skills and valves for each
child accomplish.
· Describe
your new insights and information about issues of poverty.
My new
insights and information about issues of poverty it is a major problem in the
United States of America today. People do not realize how many people live in
poverty, in their backyard. There are over 16,000 families living in poverty
with little or no income for food of shelter. I had learned that every little
bit helps when it come to supporting families by giving our totally attention.
Focus on what is going on in the world that is surrounding we the people. We
must do our part in helping, sponsoring Save the Children organization. I can
honestly say that I have decided to become a sponsor myself.
