Research that Benefits Children and Families— Uplifting Stories, Option 1:

It is extremely important for all children to know their relatives and the next of kindred. My brother the later Pastor Eugene James Williams a retiree of the United States Navy believe in keeping in contact with his families. They can be from the first unto the tenth he would always ask “How is Cousin Christina?” or "When have you seen Uncle Henry?”. My brother would get on the telephone and called around to different family members. Find out where Cousin Christina lived, and he would drive many miles to go and see her. My brother proved that he loved his families and friends because he believed that every child needs to know his/her families so they would not get involve with them in a negative way I miss him because children need to know whom they are, and where they come. I believe that this is an issue in society today.

Nobody wants to become an advocate for young children like my brother did. I remember he hated Mrs. Alberta Smith better known as Mrs. A.K. Smith she was an eighth grade professor. My brother disliked her because she would make him stand in front of the class and make him read or tell something about himself. Mrs. A.K. Smith said, "I have you to stand before the class so when you get older in life; you may have to face a tremendous crowd, and you will not face fear.” Guess What”? My brother joined the United States Navy, and years later he became an Evangelist and a Pastor of Powerhouse Church of God in Christ. Went around the world twice spreading the gospel to all races preaching the word of God. After Pastor Williams joined the United States Navy he came home to Columbus, Mississippi and went to Macon Mississippi to locate Mrs. AK. Smith. He did not know where she lived or where she still alive or decease. Pastor Williams found AK. Smith and thanked her for making him stand in from of his eight grade class.
